GlobalAdventures Japan Guide: Experience a different Japan

GlobalAdventure Japan is a PDA-/PC-compliant Japan guide software.

This does not tell you where to go : Let you find out where you want to go!

Fed up doing what all the other tourists are doing? Then explore for yourself.

So many guide books and softwares tell you where to go and to eat. If you already enojoyed these typical touristy places, why don't you explore Japan on your own?

Unlike many travel guide books, GlobalAdventures Japan does not contain lists of local shops, restaurants, museums and so on. Rather, it gives you detailed information about food, the kind of restaurants to expect, what sort of hotels are available, and how to travel around. Then, with the integrated translation features, you can interact with the locals to experience the best of all!

GlobalAdventures will also be a powerful practical help in everyday situations, such as getting a haircut, cleaning laundry or getting a suit fixed.

Don't Speak Japanese? But You Can Communicate

Phrase books, electronic or on paper, will let you translate simple phrases. But the phrases are fixed, and you cannot change them to fit your needs. It is possible to say "Where is a station?", but you cannot ask "Where is Shinjuku station?".

GlobalAdventures Japan has a translation feature that allows you to input words so you can ask "How to get to Tokyo Museum?". It can also help you to make reservations for a restaurant at a time and date that you determine.

Then hit the "Translate.." button.

When you encontered something you don't know, you can ask GlobalAdventures Japan. The convenient, easy-to-use search feature allows you to input words to search over the entire text so that you will find the right information you want. For example, you want to learn about Raman.

You will find several search results and click one of them.

You will eventually find the description about Ramen.
