This package uses the EDICT and KANJIDIC files. These files are the property of the Electronic Dictionary Research and Development Group at Monash University, and are used in conformance with the Group's licence.

The dictionary features of ElectricWords allows you to look up Japanese and English words, browse a history of previously looked up words, and organize previously looked up words in contexts.

ElectricWords supports learning of Japanese by means of context depending quizzes. Based on contexts, quizzes can be generated automatically on the fly. Contexts can be reviewed as a slide show to refresh your memory.

ElectricWords comes bundled with our patent-pending SignTap input methods, with which Kanji (Chinese characters) can be entered without knowing its pronunciation. The dictionary supports incremental lookup.
