NEW ATOM Grammar Tool for Speech Grammar Development with the Automatic Error Reporter

(Agilingua, LLC., NY, September 3, 2009) Agilingua, LLC announces the release of the ATOM Grammar Tool v 2.0, the new version of the comprehensive, simple-to-use tool especially designed for developing speech recognition grammars. The version 2.0 includes a new, automatic speech grammar error report function.

The ATOM Grammar Tool
The ATOM Grammar Tool is a comprehensive, simple-to-use tool especially designed for developing speech recognition grammars. Without requiring more software other than speech recognition and text-to-speech software, the ATOM Grammar Tool supports all the speech grammar development processes from the integration with a speech software, editing, testing and debugging. ATOM Grammar Tool is compliant with the speech recognizer which comes with MS Windows.

The ATOM Grammar Tool consists of:
- Grammar Editor allows to write speech grammars in multiple formats such as JSGF and SRGS, automatically checks syntax error and adds semantic representation.
- Grammar Tester to run grammar and annotation tests whether created grammar covers recorded utterance.
- Grammar Debugger examines the parse tree and semantic representation, and runs annotation test.

Speech Grammar Error Reporter
In addition to the above described three features, the Grammar Tool has a new feature named the Grammar Reporter which quickly can automatically generate performance reports by evaluating grammars against test sets.

The Grammar Reporter can find where grammar failures are and identify the characteristics of the failures. The Grammar Tool with other three features of the Grammar Editor, the Grammar Tester and the Grammar Debugger will support fast development of speech grammar and reduce the workload.
