NEW ATOM Spoken Dialogue SDK with Faster Runtime Engine and New Automatic Speech Grammar Error Reporter


(Agilingua, LLC., NY, September 3, 2009) Agilingua, LLC announces the release of the ATOM Spoken Dialogue SDK v 3.0, the new version of the complete software development kit for interactive natural language spoken dialogue interfaces. The version 3.0 includes a faster runtime engine and the upgraded Grammar Tool with a new, automatic speech grammar error report function. Also, the SDK is now integrated with the Japanese Text-to-Speech freeware AquesTalk for Windows.

ATOM Spoken Dialogue SDK
The ATOM Spoken Dialogue SDK is a comprehensive Software Development Kit especially designed for developing an embedded interactive spoken dialogue systems in multiple languages. The SDK reduces the required development time by 50% to 75% compared to the development without using ATOM * . (*During internal tests when using third party editing software to program for integrating with speech recognizer and create application program of 40 hours of workload.)

Faster Runtime Engine
The upgraded ATOM Runtime Engine increased its execution speed by 10-20%. The standard ATOM Dialogue Runtime Engine is available for Windows XP and Vista, and separately offered for embedded system OS such as Pocket PC, Windows Mobile, Windows CE, Windows Automotive and Linux.

Speech Grammar Error Reporter
The Grammar Tool has a new feature named the Grammar Reporter which quickly can automatically generate performance reports by evaluating grammars against test sets. The Grammar Reporter can find where grammar failures are and identify the characteristics of the failures. The Grammar Tool with other three features of the Grammar Editor, the Grammar Tester and the Grammar Debugger will support fast development of speech grammar and reduce the workload. Integrated with a free Japanese Text-to-Speech middleware, the AquesTalk
In addition to Windows Speech Recognizers and Text-to-Speech software, the ATOM Spoken SDK now include the integration code for using a free Japanese Text-to-Speech middleware, the AquesTalk for Windows. Developers need to download and install the AquesTalk through Aquest Corp. website at http://www.a-quest.com/aquestalk/index.html.
