(Agilingua, LLC., NY, February 15, 2007) - Agilingua, LLC. announced the release of the ATOM Dialogue SDK which is the first SDK to support the entire development process of spoken language applications. The SDK allows application developers to quickly add advanced spoken user interfaces to existing applications without requiring specialized knowledge.

The ATOM Dialogue SDK supports the development of next generation spoken user interfaces. Supported features include the dynamic generation of interactions depending on database queries, dynamic selection of implicit or explicit confirmation questions, interactive corrections and more new functionalities which are challenging to implement with current existing technologies.

One of the key features of the ATOM Dialogue SDK is the CDD (Comprehensive Dialogue Development) process which for the first time in the industry supports the entire development cycle of spoken language applications. Typically, the following 5 steps are necessary to develop a functional voice interface: Data Collection, Transcription, Grammar Development, Dialogue Development and Usability Test. CDD streamlines the entire development cycle to reduce development cost and time. Integration to existing applications and databases is also easy owing to its consistency.

The second key feature is ATOM Chameleon which allows developers to create new or to modify existing reusable templates. Chameleon is an innovative, flexible approach to reuse dialogue algorithms and therefore reduce the amount of expert skills and knowledge needed when developing complex spoken language applications. This is useful for applications to exhibit a certain character or to fulfill for example safety requirements in an in-car environment.

In addition, all major speech and multimodal standards are supported and combined with proprietary extensions to enable rapid development of spoken language applications.
